Latest Ofsted Report
Ofsted Inspection for Education and Care Provision February 2012
We are very proud to announce that following our recent inspection, the school has been judged by a joint team of Ofsted inspectors to be OUTSTANDING for both its education and care provision.
This is a very pleasing outcome, particularly when it is clear that Ofsted has become more rigorous when making judgements of outstanding, and in light of the new newly implemented National Minimum Standards in Care.
This latest judgement is the schools 9th Outstanding inspection report from Ofsted since 2006, which is a unique and exceptional achievement for schools working in this area of special education. You can view the report by going to the schools website link below.

Curriculum Enrichment Week
Activity Week Photos
Over the last five or six years, we have always used the week in July that Year 10 are doing their work experience to do something different for the pupils we have left in Years 7, 8 & 9. This is an opportunity for them all to doing something that they might not have done before, making it a sort of curriculum enrichment week.
This year the pupils went to the Navel Museum at Portsmouth, visited Mercedes Benz World, The Tower of London, an animal rescue centre, and we had a day in school doing Spanish cookery. Some pupils also went Bargain Hunting and there were two separate camps for boys and girls.
The pupils and staff all had a great time and you can see this from just some of the pictures on the website in the gallery section titled Activity week July 2011.
